The Rockland Nationals are pleased to announce Kai Stothers’ U Sports committment with the Laurier Golden Hawks (University of Waterloo) for the 2024-25 season.
Prior to joining Rockland, Kai was a graduate of the CIHA Program here in Rockland. Kai is now in his second season with the Rockland Nationals. Kai has suited up in 97 games, tallying 8 goals, 37 assists, for a total of 45points during his CCHL career.
Kai has been an integral part of the Rockland Organization this season. Kai has been an extremely reliable defenseman and has played a vital role in the success of the Nationals this season. Kai plays in every situation for the Nationals, with his dependable play. Kai is a great 200 ft defensemen with his physical play and his ability to create offense in the offensive zone.
Kai has also been a tremendous leader for the Nationals organization being a great role model for all our young players. Kai exemplifies great character, high work ethic, and dedication to his craft each day.
The Rockland Nationals’ Coaching and Management staff want to thank Kai for all the time and effort he has put into the organization, and wish him the best of luck in his career at the university level with the Laurier Golden Hawks.
