Nationals Announce Changes to Coaching Staff
The Nationals ownership group would like to announce that Head Coach Jeff Fox has stepped down from his duties. We would like to thank Jeff Fox, Luc Chabot and Sean Blunden for all of their efforts and dedication to the Nationals. We wish each of them the best in their future endeavors.
We would like to welcome Carl Robillard as Head Coach and General Manager. Carl comes with 14 years of experience in competitive hockey (PeeWee AAA, Bantam AAA, Midget AAA, Junior B, and Quebec Junior AAA) and is currently a scout for the Sherbrooke Phoenix (QMJHL). Carl’s philosophy is based on commitment, development and a positive learning environment. A dedicated and outstanding worker, Carl will bring the Nationals players a successful continuity.
We also welcome Matthew Barnaby as Assistant Coach. Matthew had a 13-season NHL career as a hockey player. He was also an assistant coach in the OHL for 2 seasons with the Kitchener Rangers.

Le groupe de propriétaires du National annonce la démission de Jeff Fox de ses fonctions en tant qu’entraîneur-chef. Nous tenons à remercier Jeff Fox, Luc Chabot et Sean Blunden pour tous leurs efforts et leur dévouement auprès du National. Nous leur souhaitons à chacun d’eux le meilleur dans leurs projets futurs.
Nous souhaitons la bienvenue à Carl Robillard à titre d’entraîneur-chef et de directeur général. Carl possède 14 ans d’expérience dans le hockey compétitif (PeeWee AAA, Bantam AAA, Midget AAA, Junior B et Québec Junior AAA) et est actuellement dépisteur pour le Phoenix de Sherbrooke (LHJMQ). La philosophie de Carl est basée sur l’engagement, le développement et un environnement d’apprentissage positif. Un travailleur dévoué et exceptionnel, Carl apportera aux joueurs du National une continuité réussie.
Nous souhaitons également la bienvenue à Matthew Barnaby à titre d’entraîneur adjoint. Matthew a eu une carrière de 13 saisons dans la LNH en tant que joueur de hockey. Il a également été entraîneur adjoint dans l’OHL pendant 2 saisons avec les Rangers de Kitchener.
