The Rockland Nationals are proud to announce that our Captain Mathys Laurent has committed to the Concorida Stingers at the U-Sports level.
Mathys has been an integral part of our program on and off the ice for the past year. Mathys played a vital role in helping Rockland capture its first Bogart Cup with his great defensive play, and his ability to generate offense from the back end.
This season Mathys has taken on the captaincy role for our program and has been an outstanding role model for our players. Mathys leads by example with his dedication and work ethic he displays on a daily basis.
We congratulate Mathys on this accomplishment and wish him the best of luck over the next four years with Concordia.
Les Nationals de Rockland sont fiers d’annoncer que notre capitaine, Mathys Laurent, s’est engagé avec les Stingers de Concordia au niveau U Sports.
Mathys a été une pièce maîtresse de notre programme, autant sur la glace qu’à l’extérieur, au cours de la dernière année. Il a joué un rôle crucial dans la conquête du tout premier Bogart Cup de Rockland grâce à son jeu défensif exceptionnel et à sa capacité à générer de l’offensive depuis l’arrière.
Cette saison, Mathys a assumé le rôle de capitaine de notre équipe et s’est imposé comme un modèle exemplaire pour nos joueurs. Il mène par l’exemple grâce à son dévouement et à son éthique de travail irréprochable, jour après jour.
