The Rockland Nationals' offense had a big night, peppering the Carleton Place Canadians with 25 shots throughout the game. The Rockland Nationals took the lead early in the third on a goal from Josh Norman.
During the second period, Pruneau opened the scoring for Rockland with a goal at 13:10 with helpers from his linemates, Collins and Péladeau.
In the third, Norman deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 3:11 with assists from teammates Sullivan and Lafrance. Mosley finally put Carleton Place on the board with a goal at 17:28 with a helper from defenseman Thorne.
The Nationals’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Giacobbo’s big night as he stopped 26 of the 27 shots he faced. On the other hand, Giacobbo’s counterpart, Murphy, and the Canadians’ defense did not have such a great night stopping only 23 of 25 shots.
This win brings the Rockland Nationals’ record to (4-3-0-0).
