The Rockland Nationals' offense had a big night, peppering the Kemptville 73's with 27 shots throughout the game. The Rockland Nationals took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Louis Chabot.
In the first, Patterson opened the scoring for the 73’s with a goal at 17:23 with helpers from his teammates Kiefer and Faith.
During the second, Coykendall answered for Rockland with a goal at 1:08 with assists from Stanley and Graham. Pruneau netted a goal at 4:17 with helpers from Boyer and Power. Chabot put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 11:04 with an assist from defenseman Keating.
In the third period, Frazee answered for the 73’s with a goal at 13:25 with a helper from defenseman Figueira. Blanchette answered for the Nationals with a goal at 19:42 with an assist from Leblanc.
Rockland’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Roy as he stopped 22 of the 24 shots he faced. On the other hand, Roy’s counterpart, Lukenda, and the 73’s’ defense did not have such a great night allowing 3 goals in 26 shots.
This win brings the Rockland Nationals’ record to (12-13-1-1).
