The Nationals crushed the Grads 7-3

The Rockland Nationals' offense had a big night, peppering the Navan Grads with 54 shots throughout the game. The Rockland Nationals took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Shawn Kennedy.

Trevor Coykendall contributed with 2 goals and Alex Robert delivered for his team with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).

During the first period, Coykendall opened the scoring for Rockland with a goal at 11:35. Robert put in a goal at 18:46 with helpers from his linemates, Kennedy and Blanchette.

In the second, Blanchette netted a goal at 4:30 with assists from his teammates Robert and Power. Fabbro quickly followed with a goal at 5:16. Kennedy answered for Rockland with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 8:51 with a helper from defenseman Brennan ‘a’. Coykendall quickly followed with a goal at 10:30 with assists from his teammates Graham and Beatty. Robert quickly followed with a goal at 11:50 with helpers from Power and Kennedy. Osburn answered for the Grads with a goal at 19:55 with assists from Mcgrath ‘a’ and Cianci.

In the third, Chartrand deposited a goal at 0:14. Beatty answered for Rockland with a goal at 2:42 with helpers from Gosselin and Keating.

The Nationals’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Roy as he stopped 15 of the 18 shots he faced. Roy’s counterpart, Carter, also had a big night, managing to stop 47 of 54, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Rockland Nationals’ record to (27-27-3-2).
