The Rockland Nationals have announced that Ottawa native Matthew Vermaeten has been named Team Captain for the upcoming season. Vermaeten is entering his third season with the Nationals and with a number of key returning players from last year, it was a hard decision but Vermaeten stood out as being a great choice to lead the player leadership group. Vermaeten is a leader by example player and with the effort, he puts in on and off the ice, we are expecting him to push the other players all season.
In addition to Vermaeten the Nationals have also named Cameron Scrivens, Jack Sullivan and Cole Craft as Assistant Captains
The Nationals want to congratulate this year’s leadership group!
